Brad Paisley Biography

Brad Paisley whose full name is Brad Douglas Paisley is an American country music singer and musician as well. He was born in 28 October 1972 in Virginia to a transport officer and a teacher. His grandfather gave him a guitar, when he was 8 years old and his love for the music started. He started performing in the church at the age of ten years. Along with singing he started writing his songs also, he wrote his first song at the age of 13 years.

His principle at high school once listened to his song and he invited him to perform on the local shows on the radio. After that he performed for eight years on the show and opened many shows for various artists.

He then graduated from high school and studied in West Liberty College on full paid scholarship. After that he met Fank Rogers who became his producer for his upcoming songs. He then got a degree in music and signed a contract with EMI Music Publishing. He wrote for many artists while working with the company and his songs were rated on top on the charts.

He released his first album “Who needs Pictures” in 1999. His album got platinumcertified due to its great sales in the country. It was seen that Brad was going to be a very promising singer of thefuture. He won his first Grammy Award for best new artist that year.

In 2001 he launched his album “Part II”, whose songs “Wrapped Around” and “Two people fell in love”. Both of these songs and others from the album charted with the top songs in the pop charts.

Later on he released the third album “Mud on the tire” in 2003. Its main song “Celebrity” along with its video became a hit worldwide. The titles track Mud on the tire reached the number one spot on the billboard also in the year 2004.

His fourth album “Time well wasted” was released in 2005 containing 15 songs. He sung duets in it with Alan Jackson which were also very appreciated by the fans. His album won the award for album of the year In the ACM awards in 2006 for its success a liking by the fans.

In 2007 “Fifth Gear” his fifth album was released. His singles “I’m still a guy” and “Latter to me” became very famous and marked the success of this album.

In 2009 his sixth album with the name of “Play” was released and became a hit, the time it was aired on the radio. The seventh album “American Saturday night” was released in 2009. In this album he again received applause and appreciation from the critics and became consecutive hit of his work.

In 2010 he released “This is Country Music” with its titled track as his eighth studio album. Its song Old Alabama became Brad’s nineteenth number one hit on the charts. Later in 2012 he released his ninth album “Wheelhouse” which was again a success as expected by every one.
