Celine Dion Biography

Her full name is “Celine Marie Claudette Dion” known by “Celine Dion” was born on 30 March, 1965 in Canada. She made her debut with her first English-language album “Unison”. It was released on 2 April, 1990 by Epic Records and Sony Music Records with producers Christopher Neil, Tom Keane, Andy Goldmark and David Foster. The album has influence by 80’s soft rock music. She also participated in a tribute to American army struggling in “Operation Desert Storm” on the platform of “Voices That Care” in 1991.

In 1992, she released her self-titles album. It was released on 31 March, 1992 by 550 Records and Epic Records. It was certified 2x platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). It was nominated at the Grammy Awards in the category of “Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal” and “Best Song written for a Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media”.

In 1996, She launched her fourth studio album “Falling into You” that was released on 8 March, 1996 by Epic Records. It won three Grammy Awards at the Grammy Awards 1996 in the category of “Album of the Year”, “Best Pop Vocal Album” and “Best Song written for a Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media”.

In 1996, she released her 5th English album “Let’s Talk About Love” that was released on 14 November, 1997 by 550 Records and Epic Records with producers Ric Wake, Tony Renis, Billy Pace, George Martin, James Horner and Corey Hart.

In 2002, she released her English-language studio album “A New Day Has Come” that was released on 22 March, 2002 by Epic Records and Columbia Records. She won American Music Award in the category of “Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist”, Dragon Awards in the category of “International Female Artist of the Year” and Arion Music Award in the category of “Best Selling International Album”.

In 2003, she released the album “One Heart” that was released on 24 March, 2003 by Epic Records, with producers Anders Bagge, Kara DioGuardi, Peer Astrom, Humberto Gatica, Kristian Lundin, Vito Luprano, Max Martin and Ric Wake.

In 2004, she launched her concept album “Miracle” that was released on 11 October, 2004 by Epic Records with producer David Foster.

In 2007, she launched her major studio album “Taking Chances” that was released on 7 November, 2007 by Columbia Records.

Her other Christmas albums are “Céline Dion chante Noël (released in December 1981)”, “Chants et contes de Noël (released on 5 December, 1983)” and “These Are Special Times (released on 30 October, 1988)”.
