Christina Aguilera Biography

Christina Maria Aguilera better known by her stage name Christina Aguilera was born on 18 December, 1980 in New York, United States. Her mother names is Shelly Laraine (pianist and violinist) and father names is Fausto Xavier Aguilera (retired soldier from the US Army). As a child, she participated in many local competitions and talent shows. She won her very first talent show after performing Whitney Houston’s popular track “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”, when she was 8. She recorded her first single “All I Wanna Do” at the age of fourteen. In 1999, she contracted to RCA Records.

Christina has appeared in movies including: Shark Tale (2004), Shine a Light (2008), Get Him to the Greek (2010) and Burlesque (2010). She also has appeared in many television show and series including: The Mickey Mouse Club (1993), Beverly Hills (1999), Saturday Night Live (2000-2006), Punk’d (2003), Project Runway (2009), Conan (2010), Entourage (2010) and The Voice (2011-2012).

On August 24, 1999, she released debut self-titled studio album by by RCA Records.
