Grande appeared first time on the television in Nickelodeon sitcom “Victorious” as “Cat Valentine”, from where she started her career and played her role in spinoff Sam & Cat as well. In 2008, Grande surprised the viewers by her acting as playing a role of Charlotte in the musical 13 on Broadway, for which she won a National Youth Theatre Association Award. In 2010, she worked in shooting a true story and played a role of Miriam in the reading of the new musical, Cuba Libre, which was a stage play and it was written and produced by Desmond Child.
Due to her sizzling body Grande became the featured cover girl in Dream Magazine of August 2011 fall. Late she was voiced for an animated fairy in a series Winx Club and played a role of Snow White in the production of A Snow White Christmas from December 13-23, 2012, which was a stage play and she was highly appreciated at her work in this play.
Grande also shared her talent in music industry and had a great influence on teen in music industry as she released her first single debut album “The Way” featuring Pittsburgh rapper Mac Miller, on March 2013, which became very famous and led that in top 40 hits. She received Platinum certificates in US and Gold in Australia on this. And her second album “Baby, I” was released on July 2013, which won the millions of heart around the globe and make her approach to the height of popularity.
She co-founded the youth singing group in Florida which was made for those kids who care. She performed there and raised over $500,000 for charities in 2007. In summer 2009, as a member of that charitable organization she performed and taught music and dance to the children in Guguletheu, South Africa.
Grande completed her next music album “Yours Truly”, in June 2013, which is going to be released on the end of this summer on September 2013.
She had smoky vocal texture and connected, light, resonant, and easily accessed head note head voice. Her music is generally pop, rhythm and base, pop rock, soul, funk, dance and has infusion of hip hop into her music.
Grande is mainly influences by Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston and also influenced by a composer and songwriter Imogen Heap and Fergie which influenced her through “Fun and Passionate”. Big Sean is one of her favorite rappers and she is good friend of him as well.
Ariana won a National Youth Theatre Association Awards in 2008 as a best actress. She placed herself in nominees of Hollywood Teen TV Award in 2010 but won the Award in 2012 as a favorite Television Actress by playing her role in “Victorious”. Later in 2013, she won a Billboard Mid-Year Music Awards as a new comer. And have several nominees in Teen Choice Awards.
