All Efforts to Bring Davido to #JosChilling Explained!
Many will argue that the management of Jos Chilling didint do their home work well or they scammed people into believeing the Billioniare’s Son is coming but contrary to all assupmtions the organisers have some details for us!

“For those claiming that the owners of Jos Chillin used Davido’s name to scam concert goers because they didn’t have any plans of bringing him, how do you just comfortably malign people’s integrity from your food shop in a location far removed from where the activities are happening?
Just for the purposes of clearing the air and providing further information into efforts made to get him to come to Jos, even at extra cost outside what was originally agreed (and paid for) in the contract he signed, Davido and his team did not communicate travel challenges to any member of our team until 6pm on show day. They first claimed that they didn’t have fund for fuelling his father’s jet, despite signing a contract that states clearly that he was supposed to take care of his logistics. We had a meeting and decided to concede by sending the money to fuel the jet.
Next the said they needed to get permission from his dad to use the jet. This permission wasn’t forthcoming bu 7pm and we had another meeting and decided that instead of waiting endlessly for his dad to agree for him to use the jet, we will pay for another jet to bring him to Jos. We communicated this to his manager and he started asking silly questions about ownership of the jet and the flight status as if NCAA will allow an unhealthy jet to operate. With all these questions answered, the then proceeded to inform us that they they were 18 people travelling and the 8 seater jet we have provided won’t work. This guys signed a contract that says not more than 11 people were to come for the show including Davido. Remember also that we were bending over backwards to provide the 8 seater jet that we have no business providing. The time at this point was almost 8pm.
We then had another management meeting to decide on a fall back plan and considered a lot of options. Naira Marley, Wande Coal, Tiwa Savage, Zlatan, Patoranking, Teni, etc. We decided to get Patoranking to come in from Abuja because he already a Hennessy event there. A private jet was in Abuja waiting for him to finish performance and board but he didn’t finish his performance till after 1am by which time we couldn’t continue to keep the airport open endlessly.
So for anyone to suggest that we didn’t make an effort to remedy the situation, that person is being uncharitable and callous. No.expense was spared to ensure that he came to perform. The man obviously accepted another booking in Lagos for Zenith Bank and was trying to kill all the birds with a single stone. This is extremely unprofessional and shouldn’t be justified by anyone that feels the need to be silly. Emmanuel Adukwu went over and above to ensure this man came as contractually agreed and the man defaulted, as he has done severally to other people.”
