Blake Shelton Biography

Blake Telison Shelton was born on 18thJune, 1976. He is an American country singer . he was born in the state of Oklahoma in America to his parents Richard and Dorothy. His father was a car dealer while his mother was a saloon owner. He had the liking of music from the start and used to sing when he was very young. He learned playing guitar at the age of 12 and started singing along with. He started writing his own songs also and wrote his first song at the age of 15.he played in parties and local places and became famous in his country places at the age of 17 he moved onto Nashville to pursue his career.

He made his debut in 2001 with his solo song “Austin” which was the song from his first song with the same title. His song remained number one on the billboard charts. This song became a big hit and the album went for gold selling.

He then went on to working on new projects and released his second album in 2003 named “The Dreamer”. This album was sponsored for him by the Warner Brothers. This album also became a hit for him and landed major earnings for him. The third album also came in 2004 with the name of “Barn Shelton’s Barn & Grill”. It was a huge hit and its song “Home” set the record breaking status. His fourth album was “Pure BS” which was released in 2007 and was also a hit. The album became a real hit and earned great repute for him.

After that he worked for his fifth album and named it “Startin Fires”. This album was released in 2008. After that he worked on extended plays. His extended plays were Hilibily Bone and All about Tonight in the year 2010. After that he worked in Red River Blue in 2011 and in 2013 on the play Based on a True Story.

His high success has earned him three Grammy award nominations. He is also known as hosting and judging many television shows. The shows included Clash of the choirs, the voice and Nashville Star. He has been regarded as one of the very finest judges.

Blake Shelton has been to many concerts and has gone for many tours. His concerts have been a success and were live aired form BBC and NBC both. He also worked in many fund raising campaigns and is known for his donations.

Shelton had a very long time girl friend whom he married in 2003 but the marriage could not work out so they divorced in 2006. At that time he had met country singer Miranda Lambert and went for concerts with her. Their relationship swung in a new light and he proposed to her. Both if they got married in 2011 in Texas. The marriage was a grand one. They were very happy to married and live in a small town in Oklahoma. He has won many awards including song of the year.
