Ciara Biography

Ciara Princess Harris is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, actress and a model. She was born in 25th October, 1985 and is currently 27 years old. Herspecialty is being a rock and pop star. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia. She is the only child of her parents Jackie and Carlton Harris. Her father was in army and she grew up at different places where his father was placed. When she reached teenage, she had almost seen the entire world while touring with her father. After that the family moved on to Atlanta. Ciara loved singing when she was really young and build a group with her friends when she was just teenager. She named the group Hearsay. The group broke up after some time and she started writing songs for Fantasia Barrio’s album. It was the time when her writing got acclaimed from all over the music world. She met the producer Jazze Pha and recorded four demos with him in 2002. Since itsrelease, the songs became hits all over America.

She released her first solo album in 2004 by the name of Goodies, its famous songs included Goodies, Oh and 1, 2 step. The album was a rue hit and became gold selling. This album received platinum certificate. She was also nominated in four of the nominations for this project of hers in the Grammy awards.

The second album Ciara: The Evolution was another hit by her which came into view in 2006. Its songs mounted the charts and stayed there for a longer time. Its promising singles include “Get Up” and “Promise”.

After that she worked onto many tours and concerts. Along with that she jumped into modeling and went to shoot for many campaigns and worked for advertisements as well. Then she launched her third album named “Fantasy Ride” in 2009. It’s one song feature Justin Timberlake in the song “Love s*x Magic”.

In 2010 she went on to releasing the fourth album of her “Basic Instinct”. But this time it didn’t marked the expectations of the fans. This album failed to receive the charm the older ones got. So, she went for more advertisement projects and made a lot of money there.

In 2011 she signed a contract with the Epic Records for her fifth album named “Ciara”. This one had a very ongoing and famous song that resided on the top of the hip hop charts called “Body Parts”.

She also made a name in the acting career other than modeling. She did a lead role in 2006 movie All You’ve got. She went onto acting in the movies that’s my boy and Mama! I want to sing in 2012. She earnedmany awards including best solo song of the year, best video of the year. The award list includes MTV awards, Grammy Award and MOBO awards for her music. She is one of the leading solo female singers of US and had sold over millions of her albums world wide.
